Sport England Tackling Inequalities Funding

Sport England has allocated National Lottery funding to ensure that those who have been impacted most by Covid-19 are able to get active. It is essential that the providers who work with these groups are empowered to ‘survive and thrive’ this year.

Energize, in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council and Shropshire Council will be reaching out to organisations who we know work with these groups and will be led by local need to distribute the funding allocated for Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

Priority groups

  1. People on lower income
  2. Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic groups
  3. Disability groups
  4. People with Long Term Health Conditions
