What is #TogetherWeMove?

Our ambition is to eliminate inactivity focusing first on those who experience the most barriers to achieving an active lifestyle.

But we can't do this on our own.

We know it’s going to take a huge collective effort. This will involve us connecting with people and organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Encouraging an active lifestyle is in everyone’s best interests and so is everyone’s business – we don’t have all the answers.

And that is what #TogetherWeMove is all about... a social movement about helping people move more.

For it to be truly successful #TogetherWeMove needs to be owned and influenced by us all.

Energize will facilitate (and in the first place have some ideas to get started) but we want and need to hear a diverse range of voices - we haven’t got all the answers and sometimes we’ll be wrong.

If this sounds interesting and you would like to join many others in getting involved, please fill in this short form. We will then keep you informed of upcoming events and other ways for you to be part of the movement  #TogetherWeMove

Get Involved

What does 'get involved' actually mean?

If you fill in the form, all it means is that you will receive our e-newsletter updates on #TogetherWeMove and we will email you to see if you would like to have more involvement by becoming a champion or attending events. We are just keen to build the base of supporters and go from there. No one is asked to do anything they don't volunteer to do.

The photo used on this page was taken at The Cavalier Centre, Much Wenlock on 17th June 2022 when we helped to facilitate a day of activities for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities from across the County. It was a wonderful day with helpers from Shropshire Cricket, the School Games Inclusion Lead, Sally Harris as well as the team from the Cavalier Centre.
