Two recent rugby development events have enabled 196 female secondary school pupils to try the sport. The results were so positive, with 92% saying they would like to take part again and 54% said the events gave them 'a lot more confidence' to take part in other sports. 

These School Games events were aimed to inspire young people and they were so successful that:

• 35 of the pupils have joined school rugby club sessions
• 15 have joined a different school sports club
• 11 pupils have joined a rugby club outside of school
• 2 rugby fixtures have been arranged.
